Recommended lights for nuvo 8 gallon

The stock lights that come with this tank aren't sufficient enough for higher light corals. A rule of thumb I see everywhere is 2w per gallon. With an 8w on an 8 gallon tank that is half of what its supposed to be. What would you recommend for this tank. Ive heard kessils but which coloration. Also would the Skkye Led 18w clamp work?
