recommended skimmer size?

I have an ASM G-1X skimmer for my 125. I have heard that this may not be large enough? What are your thoughts...It pulls gunk like crazy and I empty it every other day just about...Do I need to go larger? So far it seems to be doing a good job, but who knows...

I need to do another nitrate test, but last I checked they were really low...

if they are low then you should be good to go = also what corals are you doing? if sps you might want to go bigger - but if not i wouldnt waste the money. there are other ways to get them lower as well.
