Recycling old lamps

I know that Home Depot accepts CF bulbs, but do they also take MH and T5?

no. not yet.I posted it the lighting and equipment forum yesterday to hopefully get some info. i'm gonna run by Lowe's a little later and thought I would grab one of them and ask. i would love to be able to take my bulbs to a lfs. because then i could go shopping afterward but lowe's or homedepot would be OK.

Well, Lowes accepts tube lights and took my old T5's from me. I wanted to ask the service lady about the Metal Halide bulbs but she was just too busy. Besides, if I had one to show her as an example it might be easier. If anyone has an old CF and/or MH bulb please let me know.

I have an old atinic 96 w CF you can have. I work for First Tennessee on the corner of Houston Levee and Wolf River Blvd in Collierville just down from Marty. I will put it in my car.

I have six actinics (compact) and two metal halides and one small UVC to part with.

recyclebulbs.com has a location in Memphis. I think they may take MH bulbs and old ballast, etc. I'm not sure if they take drop offs, but it may be worth checking if you get time.
