Recycling old lamps

no. not yet.I posted it the lighting and equipment forum yesterday to hopefully get some info. i'm gonna run by Lowe's a little later and thought I would grab one of them and ask. i would love to be able to take my bulbs to a lfs. because then i could go shopping afterward :-) but lowe's or homedepot would be OK.

Well, Lowes accepts tube lights and took my old T5's from me. I wanted to ask the service lady about the Metal Halide bulbs but she was just too busy. Besides, if I had one to show her as an example it might be easier. If anyone has an old CF and/or MH bulb please let me know.
Thanks.

I have an old atinic 96 w CF you can have. I work for First Tennessee on the corner of Houston Levee and Wolf River Blvd in Collierville just down from Marty. I will put it in my car.

Moderators: If this is in violation of my probation then just please remove. No intent here but to help someone out.

awesome Jay! will you still be at the Jude at 3PM? i can pick them up from you then, or you could leave them on the 3rd floor of the ALSAC tower, the main laboratory. let me know something.

recyclebulbs.com has a location in Memphis. I think they may take MH bulbs and old ballast, etc. I'm not sure if they take drop offs, but it may be worth checking if you get time.
