recyling carbon

After using a bag of carbon to remove medication (nitrofuracin green, prazi or chloroquine), is it ok to rinse and re-use the carbon?

No - rinsing will not remove organics that have adsorbed onto the carbon. I have read about baking the carbon in an oven at a high temp, but don't know the instructions off hand. Carbon is cheap enough that I would simply toss it and use new.
