red bubble algae

Here's an article. http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-02/hcj/feature/index.php

Not sure on herbivors that might eat it. The red BA is less common than the green, but some of the predators may work. I have some growing in my tank, but so far it hasnt become invasive, and I kinda like it so I havent worried about too much. My plague is the green BA so far I've had very little success with natural means, so I manually remove it.

My tuxedo urchin loves to eat Red and Green BA. He loves it so much, I didn't even know it was growing in my tank. I spotted it one day while doing some maintainace, and he was eating it within 15 minutes.

My foxface is a bubble algae eating fool! I was rotating snails and rocks from the sump that had it and he'd clean it off in about an hour. My frag tank had a few so I bought a little bitty foxface just to see. That's the first algae he's going for. So I have a 2 for 2 ratio going.
