Red Bugs ....What Now ?

I used 1/2 of a pill, large dog 23mg. Haven't seen RBs since. I removed all the crabs I could catch and moved them into a rescue tank but even a couple of the larger emeralds I couldn't catch survived the treatment. Interceptor won't effect your snails only crustaceans

My cleaner and blood shrimp both survived when I treated. And I did wait longer than recommended before a water change after treatment. Then I did half the recommended change, waited another 24 hours and did another change.
Then I restarted the skimmer and carbon. No bugs and much better polyp extension and growth, color too.

I never bothered with the WC. I just ran carbon for about a week, 24 hrs after the treatment.

I did it Friday
Used one full tablet and then waited till Sunday and used the other full tablet .
Everything seems to have made it even my shrimp are still around .
Will wait a week before water change and see how everything looks after that.
Thanks again Howard . I would say after a couple weeks everything should be cool for you to come by and pick up that Frag .

Not worried about the frag John, just glad everything seems to be ok. I have heard that some people have had tank crashes and such when they treated with the interceptor. Not sure of the reason, so I guess the best bet is to cover all the bases with the WC, carbon, and make sure you have aerration in the tank.
