Red channel won't respond

For quite a while the lights have been working properly but this morning a new problem- when my three Gen 2's came on one of the fixtures had two red LED's on (along with the blue and royal blue). The other two have the correct LED's and ramp working-- blue and royal blue ramping up to 50% power for the first 20 minutes of the day. I tried power cycling the ballast but when it powered back up it has the same issue. Tried setting all colors to zero and that worked properly, then I tried changing various color channels and everything reacted properly except the red channel- that one seems stuck.
How do I get the reds to behave?

gregr,

I would recommend performing a calibration on that Radion, and disabling the buttons. Both can be done by clicking the "Wrench" icon below the malfunctioning Radion in ESL.

Thanks for the quick help :)
I fear the answer to this question... I'm controlling the Radions with Apex-- do any changes made during the calibration process disappear when I hook the lights back up to the controller? As far as I know there's no way to calibrate via Apex/Fusion.

Sorry dont mean to hijack your thread but i have a similar issue:

I just purchased 2 gen3 radions for my 90g last week and noticed a problem with them. When i was playing around with the colors and intensity i noticed that they dont both respond the same way to my values. I think there is an issue with my left one. When i had hte intensity set on 30% and was lowering the different color values individually i noticed that my left one would totally cut that color off long before my right one did. Like it could only dim to a certain value before taking it to 0 and my right fixture can still dim much lower.

For example i cant remember the exact values but i was lowering my greens and when i was at about 30 for the greens my right fixture was still displaying the greens and by that time the left fixture had no greens displaying. I was able to dim the right all the way down to about a value of 3-5 before it went dark.

The same goes for all colors of that fixture.

I tried to do the calibration on that left fixture and it starts you out with the whites and you are supposed to click yes if you can see it and keep clicking until the light goes out then click no. Well i clicked yes about 30 times and the light never dims or does anything different so i cant complete the calibration. It just stays looking the same no matter how many times i click yes.

I emailed your company and still have gotten no reply. Can you help me solve this or get me a new light?

Thanks,

Short answer: yes, but the red channel glitch is a recent development.
But I haven't connected to ESL in a couple months (since I've been successfully running the lights on the Apex). This disparity between fixtures was a problem when I was using ESL, both before and after calibration, still is via Apex, but now along with the disparity at low light levels (beginning and end of the day basically) the red channel has gone awol on one fixture. Back when Neptune was having trouble with their WXM firmware I went back to using ESL- maybe 2 months ago? That was the last time I calibrated the lights, and like I said- it didn't have any noticeable effect. Neptune got the firmware worked out and I've been using it since then.
Since I like to control the lights with Apex having to to re-connect everything to ESL and go thru that entire process and then go back to Apex- that is not something I want to do unless it's guaranteed to work. It's a multi-hour process unless things go perfectly, which they generally don't
