Red coralline algae, good or bad?

I received about 150 lbs. of live rock from a guy that was getting out of the hobbie. When I received it it was covered in alot of the purple coralline algae which I really liked. I have had the rock in my tank for about 5 months and I have noticed that alot of red coralline algae has started to grow in it. I am somewhat new and was unsure whether or not red coralline algae is good or would it be better to have the purple coralline algae. I have metal halide with florecent lights on my tank.

p.s. I know it is not cyano algae.

Don't worry coralline comes in many colors, i've even heard of blue!

I have red, green, teal, blue, purple, yellow coralline on my rocks. You name the color Im sure someone has it on there rocks. I belive that just adds to the personal look of each tank.
