So some of you may know i added a female waspfish to my tank. Well this morning when feeding, my male noticed her and just about killed her! I feel like i made a grave mistake by adding her. Will this aggresion subside?

Ours was fine together after a little inital aggression. +1 above.

Can you post a pic of both of them. Any chance they're both males?

You can see both of ours in this video. The bigger one is the male.

Waspfish

It's a 28g nanocube.

nope, she's female. Unless males have an oddly female looking comb when they're small. The aggression seems to have died down. He was searching the whole tank for her, it was kind of scary. Now he just stares at her and flares his fins.

just for an idea on size difference he's 2 1/2" and she's about 1 1/4". Somewhat similar in the difference between your M/F.

okay, the aggression is gone now. i got scared about ten minutes ago because they were sitting nose to nose , fins flared. now they're sitting lips to lips with fins submitted. <3 i think it was pairing behavior!

no, sorry. maybe tomorrow, i had lots of errands today. they were somewhat at it today, but they're both getting used to each other.
