+1 on the vacuum them out with airline tubbing as many as you can and then a yellow coris wrasse with get the rest of them.i had them bad and thats how i did it and havent seen them since

use your mouth or you can submerge all the tubing and out your finger on one end and the other end is still in the water you should be able to start a siphon..

Put a filter media bag on the other end of the airline tubing and put the bag in your sump. It will collect the flatworms and you wont have to worry about the water level.
I did that a bunch of times, then left the lights off for a day and they collected on the side of my tank near the outside window. I siphoned them out and then used flatworm exit. Havent seen one since.

Be careful with flatworm exit!! I used it this weekend and lost my lionfish and my bluejaw trigger. I vacuumed everyday for 6 days and took out a truckload of flatworms. I thought I had a big percentage of them gone but 15 minutes after the I added flatworm exit my tank was littered with flatworms. I couldn't vacuum fast enough. Did water changes and carbon changes. Lost my fish the next day. On the bright side though, there are no more flatworms to be found. Flatworn exit is a great product just make sure you aren't going to overwhelm your system when you use it.

I've used Flatworm Control by Blue Life in a predator reef tank, wrasses are out of the question ......only manages to keep the numbers from increasing...seen mostly on my elegance corals..siphoning and a fresh water rinse then shaking the coral in a salt water bucket works fairley well...suggestions?

Rinsing in fresh RO water, then shaking off flatworms in a bucket of aquairium water...removes 90% from my elegance corals. Blue Life Flatworm Control mediocre results....wrasses and mandarins not an option...I want to irradicate them rather than controlling population....more suggestions?????????

I have to say that this does work but it is best if you break the treatment up into two days. Don't shock your system all at one time. That's what I did and got rid of them and it affected nothing else.
I believe the key here is to treat less at a time but for a longer time. (it has worked for me) Good luck!

i dont think flat worm exit harms your tank. i think it is the flatworm toxins that are released when they die that harms the tank.
