Red Gonipora

I have had a beautiful red gonipora in my tank now for over 2 years, always looking great with long polyp extension. Lately he closes completely long before lights out, not normal for him and sometimes during the day he is half closed up. Anyone have any suggestions? Should I be worried?

Are your water parameters are stable? If so, have you changed the flow in your tank or moved the coral? Also, how old are your bulbs?

I have a red goni, it retracted its polyps slightly when I changed my bulbs until it adapted to the new stronger spectrum. Also, changing the flow can affect polyp extention. They like good flow.

Thanks for the replies, it's almost back to normal now, I think it was low mag and it just took awhile to get over it.
