Red Gorgonian

Flow is a very important factor, too, esp. in non photosynthetic gorgs. If I hadn't already packed it all up, I'd go abck and see what it says about that type. I got one of the fan type gorgs from EBay when he had them and it showed polyps for a couple of weeks, but hasn't now for over a month and is slowly dying. I have nice laminar flow on it, too.

i bought a yellow deep sea gorg over a year ago...it lived six months then just wilted away...I now have a purple photosynthetic gorg from reeftopia and it always has its polyps out and looks great for over a year...if you like gorgs that would be an easier choice i think...but good luck anyways

Yeah I have had really good luck with photosynthetic ones. Unfortunately I lost most of them within the last year due to tank problems.
