Hello,
Anyone have any? I used to have some that I got from Aquacon and it was great growing stuff that my tangs loved. Unfortunately, I had a hair algae breakout in that tank and it wiped out all the graciliara. Looking to try and grow some more. I have chaeto for trade or frags. Thanks!

I've been looking for this stuff for my tang/fish forever! It has been nearly impossible to fing this stuff locally in the last year or so I've been looking for it. You can find it pretty cheap on some online retailers but it's hard to pay $30+ shipping on a $10 piece of algae. Bluenassarius is the only person that I could think of who might have some.

Thanks Jordan. Maybe if several people are interested we could order some and the shipping wouldn't be too bad. That stuff I got from Aquacon was great. I recently got some from a person on eBay but it was not good. Arrived smelly really bad and then died.

I had some, but it seems that the cheato out competes it or has some chemical reaction that inhibits it's growth. Mine only lasted about a month sharing space with cheato. I'm going to try it again when I have room to give it its own space. My tang really loved it.

You guys might want to check with bluenasserius, he's pretty much got the local market cornered for macro's, and if he doesnt have it I'll bet moeny he knows where it is ;)

I know reed-mariculture had some a while back as well and offered it for sale at previous meetings and this past WMC.

Our culture is back up to speed, and we'll be relaunching Gracilaria pacifica again shortly. Nothing for sale right now, sorry. Couple weeks.

I was very happy with the red gracilaria I got from ipsf.com although it's not cheap. It would be nice to get some farmed locally.

I picked up some from Yourreef yesterday. It is good stuff. Hopefully, mine will grow and I will be able to share with others.
