Although, I always wanted Anthias, I opted for a group of Fairy and Flasher wrasse after reading a long post here. I have 3 flasher and 2 fairies. They were added one at a time in this order: Carpenter, McCokser, Blue Flasher, Female Exquisite Fairy, and Red Head Solon.
I wanted to add 5 more wrasses, and I wanted them to live in peace, but I don't think my plan is working out.
The Carpenter is the boss, but his throne is threatened by the Solon. They square off often, and the Solon wins. The Carpenter beats on the McCokser and the Blue. The McCokser beats on the Blue and the Exquisite. The Solon beats on the exquisite, and I have a feeling he will take on the Carpenter soon.
The Exquisite is the most docile of all. Yesterday, she went to the overflow box. After getting her out, the Solon beat on here and forced her to hide.
I had the understanding that Fairy and Flasher get along together, and my tank size is more than adequate.
I don't know what to do with this gang now. It is under stocked tank, with plenty of room for everyone.
