red lined conch

anyone know anything about a red lined conch. like maybe the species or other common name so i can get some more info on them

were did you get that name from? your LFS? do you have any pictures of them?

As usual, most "common names" of snails are names that are made up by the supplier or LFS. Sometimes you can search the net and find that some other people are actually using the "common name," and sometimes not. Sometimes you'll find that half a dozen species are being called the same thing (i.e., "Strombus Grazers"). Your best bet is to get a pic, or use one of the ID sites if you know what the shell looks like.

There's always the chance that it's really a whelk or a murex or something else that someone is calling a conch, though.
