How do you guys get on with raising red lines?
Late last year i did up another batch of red lines and the last one just hit adult hermaphrodite!
All the others got their ovaries and then eggs much earlier then this little guy and at one stage I thought the rest has had killed him as they do eat each other during sheds, the mesh balls only do so much.
I can’t get any more then 12 to adult hood, but I don’t have much room any way and I can only fit two of my grow out mesh balls into my tubs, that’s as good as it gets for me.
The smallest at about 20 mill a couple of months back.
Poor little guy is always getting attacked by the others.
After many sheds today, another fully sledged hermaphrodite, but as I have found there is so much to these guys life cycle to get it right and totally successful with one per inch of mesh ball!
