red mangrove aerial roots

Has anyone successfully grown some fairly decent aerial roots out of their mangroves? I am currently in the process of doing so with mine, but I would like to see if anyone else has put the time in and gotten some good results! Pics would be cool too

The aerial roots on mine hold the tree a good 12 inches above the sand bed, but havent developed well enough to support the tree yet.
