Red Millepora care!

I am considering buying a red millepora from a fellow reefer, but before i do i want to know, care, location in tank to keep. I am currently running 2 250 wat 14k halides, its a 92 gallon corner tank. Im running a calcium reactor, and have plenty of flow......

Any help would be great, doing research before buying!

IMO, most reds LOVE light and alot of it. I have mine about 4 to 5 inches from the water surface. Mille's also like a nice indirect flow also.

Mille is same.. High light high flow..

agreed millis love lots of light and alot of flow.... ull see there polyps blowing everywhere and they will be super hairy when they are happy

pretty fast growers too once they become established in ur tank

I have a purple monster, and about to put milli in, just wanted to make sure the reqs were same, did some reading, but always best to get info from you guys whom actually keep it!

jay24k is exactly correct. I originally had mine low in the tank, but it turned more of a brick red. When I placed it near the top of my tank it turned back to it's bright red color.

Ok, well, im going to buy it today! Cant pass the deal of this great looking sps. For the first few days ill leave it near bottom of tank to get acclimated under my lights. Then ill move it to a higher spot in tank! Thanks everyone for their posts and help! Once i get it situated ill take some pictures of it!
