red Mithrax crabs.. bubble algae

I just noticed a patch of bubble algae in my tank. Do red Mithrax crabs do a good job on bubble algae (I prefer the look over emerald crabs)?

What do you guys recommend me to get or do to get rid of this algae.

VERY hit or miss. Some eat it a bit, many ignore it. Depends on other options, the more options which there will be if you feed the tank, the less htey will eat the buble algae.

Should I try something else? I can remove some of the algae but it's entangled on small rubble pcs with some zoo's I'd like to keep.
