Does anyone know how to keep the red mushroom coral red? Mine is fading to light pink. Thanks.

Picture, please - what kind. If this kind:
it doesn't lost color in very low light (but shriveled and become funnel-shaped), high nitrates (10-40ppm), never tried it in really clean water, and some phosphates (up to 0.5ppm). Had tank crash with toxins and ammonia spike - the same, shriveled, but didn't bleached, as sps did.

Probably in too much light. Keep it in a lower light area and see if it colors up a bit.
