The fish is currently in QT, but we have owned him for almost a year. He and all fish were placed in QT after an outbreak of ich and marine velvet in the DT. We lost the achilles and purple tangs as well as three female lyre-tail anthias.
Today is the 21st day of chloriquin treatment. There are no visible signs if ich or velvet, nor have there been in the last 10-12 days.
The mimic, our only remaining tang, has developed a sore just behind his eye. The sore started as a red spot and is now open.
He is feeding and behaving normally. What could this be and how should we treat it?
Thank you in advance.
