Red or Green Nori, does it matter?

Picked up some from the asian food section, dried not roasted. Not sure if that makes a difference either. Looks green outside the tank, inside it's dark red. Wedge Sea Hare likes it so far, so do turbo snails. I have a sailfin tang baby just temporarily I got it for and also a royal/tux urchin I am hoping will eat it but they have not yet.

Does it matter what kind?

Everything in english says: WelPac. Musubi Nori Dried Seaweed

My sea hare was a little thin so I took him in a separate container and pretty much hand fed him, he loved it. Noticed it turned the water a bit pink (it was a small amount of water). Just want to make sure the red stuff is just as good as the green, thanks!

nah.. I've fed both. Mine seem to like the brown/red better than the green though but they still eat it.

Hi,

I also feed both, my yellow tangs prefer green ones
my sea urche red ones.
Don't know if you soak the noris before feeding them to the
fish, if not try that:) Fish love it!

Greetings
