red planet bleaching...act now?

Where is it bleaching ? If bottom I would cut it. It will travel and spread. Since it's a frag you meet not have much time because of the size.

Is your other frags or SPS bleaching. Did you check Alk and phosphate. If it's on top might be growth.

my other frags are all growing and doing well. the bleaching is an overall lightening, not coming from an edge or anything like that.
I tested for everything and parameters are all A-OK
I have LEDs that are set kind of high for my other SPS but this frag is losing its color over the past 3 weeks I have had it. Not sudden, just gradual.

Red planet can turn greenish on it's interior if not under the most intense lighting. Sure it's just not greening up a bit?

I'd put it down lower if it's getting pale and slowly move it up. Sps take a little longer adjusting to LED.

Mine did the same thing...came from t5 lit tank. I moved my lights up and turned down the white and it started turning from the pinkish white color it was forming to a nice red in a matter of two weeks. Good luck sir!

Get it in a lower light spot at least until it acclimates to your lighting. Red Planet will turn a pastel pink and almost yellow when subjected to too much light, it sounds like that's what is happening.
