Red Sea 130 Filtration Question

Hello,
I have a recently cycled Red Sea 130L tank up and running. I bought the tank used from my LFS, so I have been relying on them for some assistance in setting the thing up. I have live rock, live sand, two clowns, and some easy corals (zoas and star polyps) in the tank. The fish have been in for like four days, but the corals were added two days ago. I have been noticing that the water in the tank is pretty cloudy, and that I can see floating particles in the water. I have Chemipure Elite in the tank; I placed it under the return pumps in the far left side of the back of the tank. I also have the skimmer running, which seems to be doing a fair job of collecting goopy green stuff. My question is, should I add some sort of filter media to catch particles or clarify the water? If so, where do I add it? Also, do I have the Chemipure Elite in the right spot (under the return pumps), or should I move it somewhere else?

-EDIT- I forgot to include that my water parameters are normal and have been tested multiple times by LFS. The tank has cycled.

I would think the filter floss would be best in the media rack section. There is a Red Sea sponsor forum here on RC that is very active. They could probably give you the best advice.

Thanks for the response. I do not have a new 130, so there is no media rack. It is an older model tank. I just have the skimmer, skimmer pump, heater, and return pumps in the back of the tank. The Chemi Pure Elite is under the return pumps on the far left.

Oh I thought the new models came with a media rack. They do make things easier. In Tank systems makes nice custom acrylic racks for your tank. With one of these you can position filter flows or a pad "upstream" of you bagged media. This can help keep some fine debris out of the media bag as well.

You could also use the black foam blocks that came with the system, but they clog easily and are hard to clean. It's a hassle though.
