Red sea deluxe ozone

Hi DR,

Thanks for your inquiry. The general rule for ozone is 1mg/hr per 2 gallon of water. This means that your aquarium 'needs' about 28 mg/hr of ozone. The smallest model, 50mg/hr, would work great. These RedSea ozonizers also have adjustable outputs, so you can purchase a larger unit and decrease the output if you are planning to upgrade to a larger tank in the near future.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Sincerely,
Joseph

I have read posts of people with 200+ gallon tanks using a 50 mg ozoner and still having it turned down... I have the 200 plus(great having the controller built in) and currently have it set at approx 40 for our 100 gallon, and it does a beautiful job.

Just make sure you follow the proper precautions for running ozone :).

Best of luck and happy reefing.

BTW, I bought my 200 Plus from MD also... great place to do business :)
