Red Sea Fish

Just a heads up. If you're considering buying any Red Sea fish in the immediate future, do it now. Red Sea fish disappear, (or double in price), whenever there is political trouble in Yemen; like there is now. Yemen is a major departure point for Red Sea fish and Fed-Ex avoids their airport.

The surge of Red Sea fish that have been available lately aren't coming out of Yemen for the most part. This group is coming largely from Eritrea, so hopefully we won't have the ridiculous jump in price that we've seen coincide with political turmoil in the past.

Glad I'm set on my Red Sea fish for the time being. Three Red Sea P. fridmani (one from LA and the bonded pair from DD last week) and two P. springeri. No more for a long while now.
