Hey guys, I have a question about where your fluid is when the black stopper is at the 10ML mark. Mine shows it at 9.5 when the stopper is at 10ml. Is this right?

Also, Do you pull up then push down and up again to get the bubbles out of the syringe?

Hope this makes sense. Thanks! :o

Yes, there will always be an air bubble no matter which brand of test kit or syringe you use, it is formed from the empty space between the plunger and the tip of the syringe. Read from the plunger, not the air bubble. You do not need to bleed the air out of the syringe.

Are you talking about the syringe that you pull the tank water with, or the one for the reagents?

If it's the large one for tank water, I try to make sure there aren't any large bubbles in it. Make sure you use the leading edge of the plunger (black area) towards the fluid to take the reading.

If you are talking the reagent ones, there will be an air bubble in it as thegrun mentions
