Red Sea Magnesium test kit, Help!

Has anyone ever used one of these. The test is a real pain.
How do you get the proper amount of reagent C in the syringe?

I've never used the Red Sea Mg test.
I can tell you that the other brands of Mg test kits I've used are no picnic, either.

I have never had a magnisium test kit. Of the people who do test magnisium are there any pretty reliable kits that work easier?

I think I figured it out, and my magnesium is really low. I am going to get the salifert test kit and check my results with that.

i like the salifert kit myself....it really isnt that hard to use, i dont think anyways. pretty strait forward, and there is no color guess which is good...lol...

Yeah, some of the color 'guessing' charts are tough with colors that are way too close to one another.

color guessing always frustrates me. I hate it and I'm glad the Salifert Mg test doesn't use it.
The only thing about the Salifert test that really bothers me is leveling off the spoonful of powder. It's not really a big deal, but if you do the low res test and have to cut the spoonful in half it can be a hassle. The solution is simple enough- just avoid doing the low res test.

yea it would be nice if they had 1 spoon for the low res and just double for the full res...
