i know that this kit is not the best but i have used it in the past with acceptable results. but my new kit has thrown me for a loop.
the color of the sample is supposed to go from pink to a blue end point....now i know from past kits the a blue endpoint is not gonna happen its always violet but anyhow here is what happens... when i add the .4ml of regent "c" the vile goes right to violet! thinking my MG could never be that low i added more regent"c" and the vile went back to pink! so i added the whole 1ml to the vile and i turned violet! what do i believe?
a little history: my mag was tested with elos and sailfert kits at lfs 2 weeks ago and was determined to be 1050.
i used the reef calculator ant it told me to add 925ml to raise mag to 1300
i added 925 ml and ordered this kit to confirm and here i am
