Red Sea Max 500

I will be ordering a new rsm500 next week. I live in a 3 story chalet house that was built in 2005. I am looking a putting this tank on the 2nd floor which is the main floor of the house. It will be located close to the wall. Will I need to do any modifications to the floor, other than a piece of plywood under the tank? Any advice would be nice.

Thank you,

Sean

This question keeps coming up. You need to make sure your tank is sitting perpendicular to the floor joists underneath it. If you're not sure, your best bet is to hire a structural engineer. Better to be safe than to find your tank sitting a floor or two down some morning.
