Red Sea Max biocube info

Wow. That has everything you could need! Even a protein skimmer and T5 lighting. But most products from red sea are always second rate or second best.

Looks like a combo of thier products in a cube but with a timer , seperate switches for all , t5's and a skimmer I think Ill take it over a cube any day . Prizms work decent on a small tank anyway .

Looks just like any other nano cubes out in the market today.

You must not have looked at page 4 of the description otherwise you would have noted built in skimmer and other features which are, quite clearly, different than either the JBJ or aquapod.

Good point about quality but if it does not leak, you would still likely do some mods even maybe kicking up pump flow. Its just nice to see more manufactures coming up with more nano's to push everyone to improve the product and maybe some manufacturers will start reading these forums and note the mods people are making, to wit, better pumps, fuge areas for macro, etc. These selfcontained systems are really a nice approach to the hobby. By the way and although similar, the Oceanic biocube just came out and you get better stock lighting and its largest is 29 gallons. Also, people forget about the Finnex M-tank line which is also nice line.

I have seen a few set up here in the great white north. One as a seahorse tank and the other at an LFS for display. Overall I am impressed. As an owner of the Current USA Aquapod 24 I would say this cube is definitely nice though the retail cost at almost every single LFS is $999.

a friend jus bought one,
its expensive...
but ill tell you guys how it is in the coming months.
the fact that it has a control center, t5's and a skimmer makes it worth it as a nano already though!

I've seen it in the US for as low as 600, but that was a POS LFS and I would never buy anything to support them. Cool tank though!
