Red sea max e series

Looking for opinions on these aquariums. I'm considering one of these (hopefully the 260) as my next aquarium. It will be a step up from my 94 litre kent marine bio reef. I don't have much room and this is about the biggest I can possibly fit into my living. I like thst it comes ready to go with everything I need on one plug too. Can add a sump tank underneath if I feel the need, but at first will probably leave it as it's sold with sump at the back of the tank as my current tank is the same. I was just wondering peoples opinion on them, if anyone has one and how they find it?
Many thanks.

I personally don't own a RedSea emax (I own a ReaSea Reefer 250). Comparing the max to the reefer. I think it probably comes down to a personal preference. The emax has everything you need for filtration and skimming and stuff. But it's all located on the back of the tank, and depending on where you have your tank I can see that being a problem when you need to clean equipment and stuff. Personally I love my reefer and like the idea of a sump in the bottom to store all the equipment, as for me it's easy to get to.
Again I've never worked with a emax but can attest that I love my reefer 250 haha And all I really needed to get it going was a return pump and heater, I added a skimmer later.

Thanks for your reply, I see they now do the reefer deluxe version which is the same tank as yours but with the lights from the e series. Thst coukd be a good option. As long as I coukd buy the skimmer at a later date. Just buy the tank with a heater and a return pump to start with.

Ya thats what I ended up doing! Except I didn't get the deluxe and got just the regular. But I regret the choice, as I am just purchasing (have already purchased 1 and plan to get another in the next couple months) the AI 26HD lights that come with the deluxe. To me it gives you more options in the future if more options are your thing. I ended up purchasing a skimmer a month or 2 after I set it up, but it seems to be common practice to just setup most of the gear at the start? (I'm new to the hobby haha)

I've just set up a RedSea Emax 260 - I thought it would be hard to access rear sump but it's actually fine. So far impressed, just working out how to set the skimmer
