Red Sea Max

I thought I would start a thread on my Red Sea Max.
First let me say, I cant wait to move so I can get a bigger tank! (again)
on to the tank at hand........... Its a very nice tank, It just is lacking a little on the lighting(sigh) but it should do ok for softies and lps. I filled the tank with water 2/15/08. Its only been a few days but its already starting to improve...

Nice looking tank Dan. Glad to see you jumping back into it! I'd thought about getting a red sea max tank as well but I would rather have a sump setup instead of the built in filtration thing they have.

What does that have for lighting in it? Just PC's or does it have a small mh or something?

I've been tossing around the idea of going with one of the cadlights tanks now. They're reefready and the 39 gal. just came out.

It only has PC's but Im thinking about adding a 150 watt HQI............
I am going to get a bigger tank but this will have to do till I move.

Nice tank Dan! All of these nano tanks make me want one too. I'd love to have a pistol shrimp/goby combination so it's very tempting to me. What are your plans as far as fish and corals for this tank? I'm guessing SPS if you are considering halides? Keep us updated!

The tank will be 99% Zoanthids. I do plan on a Yashia-Pistol pair in the near future........

Those are some great looking clowns! Is that marco rocks in the tank? If it is how many pounds is that?

acidlittle and ZLTFUL.... Im looking for tons of Zoos and Palys as long as they are very colorful. (brown is not a color as far as im concerned)
got2lb..Its Pukani Base Rock. HOC(Chris) sent it to me. He has a bunch more if your looking...................
Im not sure how many pounds it is. I just told him to send enough for my tank Its the lightest rock I have ever seen.
