Red Sea Mimic Blenny

Be sure to do your research online before you buy one. There are a few types that come out of the red sea that attack fish and take bites out of the flesh. There are also some that are peaceful and great in aquariums. Just be sure you know what fish you are getting before hand!!
 
yea the fang blenny is venomous and the mimic blenny mimics him because of that, they are aggressive to other blennys i know! what other fish do you have and what size tank. i agree with the research, but thats what your doing now huh...
 
As they stay pretty small you should not have a problem with them..as it is a Ecsenius it might bother your sps..

Yeah Ive heard of the Fang Blenny I think its called..

Fang blennies of the genus Meiacanthus are fantastic aquarium fish. Beautiful, and don't bother anyone. Plus, usually nothing bothers them with those big fangs! Just make sure to either get captive bred ones, or if you do get wild specimens, make sure they are eating.
