Red Sea Reef Foundation B

I just switched from using B-ionic 2 part solution to Red Sea Reef Foundation A B C. When I used the B-ionic, dosing the alkanity raised my pH and it made the water cloudy as well. But dosing the Red Sea Reef Foundation B, which is the alkanity part, I don't see a rise in PH as expected. Just wondering if someone uses Red Sea as well and shed some light on this for me.
I will soon be testing the alkanity to see if it has changed from 4 days back.

The B-Ionic alkalinity solution might be higher in pH than the Red Sea. Using sodium bicarbonate will have that effect, and the product might be a mix of both sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate, as well. The sodium bicarbonate products can work better in a tank with a high pH or with precipitation problems. The sodium carbonate products will tend to form calcium carbonate (sand) more readily due to the high pH.
