Red Sea tank stocking list..........

i have a 120 aga dual overflow tank,with a 135aga sump(100 plus gal)...with rubble zone,cheato,rdsb area.....here is my currant fish stocking list....what do you think so far......

1. Red Sea Regal(2 1/2inch)...had for 1 1/2yr
2.Purple Tang(2 1/2)...had for 2yr
3.Lamark Angel(3")...had for 3 yr
4.Neon Dottyback(3 1/2)...had for 4 1/2 yr
5.Gold Bar Maroon Clownfish(3")..had for 4 1/2yr
6.Bartlet Anthias(2 1/2)...had for 1 1/2yr

new additions......

7.Dejardei SailfinTang(3 1/2)....
8.Longspine/blue Eyed Cardinals(1")..(5 of them)
9.Red Firefish(1 1/2)..(3 of them)....

so what do the you.....thinking of adding one or 2 wrasses.....the tank is mostly....sps,chalices,a few of the nicer zoas/palys....im i missing something nice....as for the wrasses......radiant,twisteri,....etc....trying to stay in the red sea,indian ocean, sri lanka,....i also like the powder blue tank...but will be upgrading to a larger tank soon.............6 months?.......well see...mike

Would suggest not getting any more fish until you upgrade to a much bigger tank.

I dont think the stock is too much for a wrasse or 2. Radiant, bipartitus and 8line wrasses are all good choices. The 8lines though are hard to come by.

i think that with the water capacity that i have at this time and the filtration....that, thats not to many fish due to the rock setup that im re-doing....its a bonzai style setup of rock with 2 islands,so theres pleanty of swimmin space....only installing a sand/rock bed on 1/2 to 1inch for looks only ,sgsin due to filtration setup.......as for adding anothe tang...will be waiting to do that......mike...p.s...thanks for your opinions....been reefing on and off for about 11 years total....but everyones still learning.......found other red sea wrasses also....yellow banded possum,ornate leopard.....

It is just my opinion, you currently have a couple of fish that are/will be too big for your current tank, and I wouldn't add to it.

i totally agree,the upgrade is needed....and it will be soon....:fish2:i the process of buying my wife and Is currant employment( a automotive smog shop) and once the change over happens,,,i think a few moths ill upgrade,already having the new stand built from metal(2")....then on to the tank....most likely a 210 dual oveflow, but up to buying a nice used tank also....mike

Hey Mike this Dan your Mars librarian. I talked to my mom about using the St. Philomenes Gym for our frag swap. It's a no go. They don't rent out the facility because of liability reasons. Well it was worth a shot.
