Red slime remover?

Wanting to know if anyone has ever used red slime remover in a mixed reef tank??

I would worry about why you have it. Low flow , not enough cleanup crew,over feeding ,overstocking ,and unfiltered TAP water can cause this.

I have had to use it one time and it worked great for me just make sure you follow the directions.

It will work but it may return and return and etc.. Also fixing the problem and prevention are best done without any additive.
And if the red slime is just started then you may be able to control without additives.

Fix the root of the problem, not the symptom. Using the red slime remover you get at the LFS is like a bandaid on a bullet hole. Test your water. I'm willing to bet you've got higher levels of Nitrate and Phosphate. Take care of that and increse/redirect your flow and the problems will go away. In the meantime though you can vacuum it out.
