Red Slime Remover...

Alright, I used the Ultralife Red Slime Remover on 3-19. It worked excellent. Everything is healthy and no issues(other than skimmer).

Skimmer is going haywire. Here is the sequence of what has been done. Suggestions please!

125 gallon mixed reef with SPS, LPS, Softies, Clam, 150lbs LR, Large Sump with 15 gallon fuge.

3-19: Dosed Red Slime Remover
3-21: Red Slime gone, added Carbon in filter bag to sump.
3-22: 25 gallon water change
3-25: Added GFO in filter bag in sump
3-27: 25 gallon water change
3-29: skimmer still haywire

Skimmer: Aqua C EV180 with mag 7. Turn it on for 10 seconds and its skimming like crazy clear water. Livestock all looks healthy, but I am worried it is a little over a week since I have been skimming.

Help please!!

more water changes. I had the same problem. Keep doing your 25 gallon water changes and try your skimmer after every change. I'd guess around 2-3 more water changes and you will have it. Its ok if you dont skim. The water changes you are doing should help to keep your Nitrate levels ok. Just keep an eye on your levels.

that was my experience with red slime remover anyway!
