SueT over at the clamsdirect forum has used Chemi-clean in their sps/clam tanks with no problems..as have many other people...don't over do it though...many times one dose is enough.

red slime remover or anything else like it is a bandaid.the cause for red slime algae(cyanobacteria) is excess nutrients you need to fix the cause not treat the results.
