Red sun coral

Please ask her what and how she feeds them. As well as what time of day. How often she does water changes if she feeds in the tank.

I found a red one last night. It is in bad shape but hope to help it out.
It did feed lastnight and going to do daily feedings for a bit. Sure hope it makes it. It was a very large colony but now down to a few... I will post pics once it is happy again.

I know this is an older thread, but I didn't know how to post. I've learned
It's looking better than when we got it. It shows enough of itself now that I can get a better picture of the contrasting colors.

Looks like some type of dendro to me
I know I don't know everything, so I like to check out advice others pass on. I've looked for info on dendro pics, stuff like that. I can't find much. Even in E. Borneman's book he doesn't even have a genus heading for dendrophyllia, although he does list it under common genera.
I've found that they're in the same family as the sun corals (tubastreas), but aside from the name, I have no idea what the difference is.
If someone could give me some info, or point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

I had been looking at getting this guy to go with my yellow sun coral, but couldn't figure out if it was a true colour morph and not just died/bleached. They are calling it a Grey Tubinaria. I'm still new to the hobby so I'm still learning the differences between everything but it sure as hell looks like a sun coral to me.

It's a turbinaria. Pagoda cup coral. Maybe it IS related, I don't know, but it's common. Photosynthetic. Cool, in my book, love mine.
When I was going through Borneman's book and looking at other things last night, these seem to be talked about with the tubastreas, so I'm guessing they are related. But I haven't studied LPS as much as other things in my tank, so I could be wrong.

Looking at some of those pics, I would have to agree, it looks very similar (maybe identical) to some of the pics there.

Not last time I was in. I don't think he likes to order them, he doesn't want to have to remember to feed them all the time
this was just a freebie frag that his supplier threw in for him. This thing surprised me and ate a stomatella snail. I saw (and took pics) of it spitting out the shell, and then slurping up what was left of the snail. I posted a thread about it yesterday.
