Red Turf algae

Anyone found a cure for this algae, seems it likes the same conditions as sps. It loves high flow and high lighting. The only thing I have seen to keep it somewhat at bay is Mex Turbos. Fish pick at it, but it seems to cover any rock that is put into the tank. I just started using a GFO remover to see if that helps. Any other experiences out there, on getting rid of this pesty algae?

TIA

I have had the same problems. I also have found that my Mexican Turbos seem to eat some of it but definatly don't seem to eradicate it.

Some other things I have been trying -- More water changes, a phosphate reactor, manual removal.

I have had some success with manual removal but you have to do it right. If you have a sump it would be very easy. Just get a siphon tube and siphon water from your main tank into a filter sock in the sump. Then try and siphon/scrape off as much of the stuff as you can. This method prevents the algea from spreading because of the little fly aways get sucked into the siphon and caught in the filter sock.
