I recently moved and have decided to rebuild me tank. Its a 265gal with four holes drilled in the back. The set up I had at the old house was a huge stand inside and holes through the wall to the garage. Where the sump, skimmer, and chiller were. This one is going to be a flush mount in wall set up. here are some pics so you can get a good idea of what im doing. Any and all feed back is welcome, thats why i'm posting this thread.

it's an 8" tube 51" tall. The cup is 8" by 7" tall as you can see from the last pic the pump is bolted into the simmer. its an old skimmer but for 50$ the tube was to good to pass on. So far I'm leaning towards a aqua medic knock off. just drilling it and lowering the input and putting an ocean runner on it. But this is one of the areas I thought The R.C. crowed could help with.

I have a reflo tarpon I'm going to use to run a closed loop and my chiller. A pacific coast CW1000. A reflo dart to rum my returns and the skimmer. For the lighting I'm using 2 60" atinics vho's and 10 36" t-5's in differant color temps. That will leave me with an extra 660 ballest, as the last setup ran 16 36" t-5's. for flow in the tank i have one tunze 6001 on a 7901 controller. I'd love to make it a wave box but i don't think the controller pulses fast enough. I think with the dart pummping water from the top and the tarpon pummping water from the bottom i should get good flow anyways.

well like i said before i'm here for feed back so give me the good, bad, and ugly. Id like to do this right the first "second" time. lol.

It will get there. Coating the stand in elastomaric today. Putting vinal on the back and sides then doing a fresh water test to check for leaks. If all goes well the rock will be in this weekend. Then I have to do the lights!
