For what do i need redox-measurement?

The redox probe measures the balance of reducing and oxidizing reactions in the water.
It doesn't make sense to watch the absolute value. More important is to check the trend of the value over a period of time.
In simple words: Is it falling - your water becomes worse.

In this case you could use a ozonizer to increase the redox-value for example.

(If you want to decrease the value: Fill some wodka or sugar water into your tank - this is practised, too!)

I am sure there are a lot of experts here who are able to explain this much more better!

WODKA Matthias!!??

Well I guess thats how all of us pronounce it after few too many

"Another Wodka Prease farman"

Today I was able to calibrate and set up my profilux plus II eX.
I am currently getting a reading of 115mv for redox .. I was doing some reading and found a thread that mentions redox probes might need a week to break in before reading appropriately, Is this true?

Thanks
Frank

They do need time to adjust. Mine took a couple days.
I have to clean the probe every week or 2 in a mild vinigar/ro solution.
