RedSea 130 as QT

I got a hold of a Red Sea 130 pretty cheap. Want to have a QT tank and be able to use it as a hospital tank as well. My DT is a mixed reef. I would like to leave the RS set up full time as its not too bad to look at . What are my options? I bought the media rack and Tunze 9001 for upgrades to it. Whats the best way to leave this setup full time?? What should I run on the media rack?? I was trying to avoid LR option as if I ever need it to be used as a HT the copper will do in the rock.

Thanks for any input.

They're nice tanks. Personally I'd use it as a second tank to do something special and unusual that I can't or am not willing to do with my main display tank.

Anglers, Frogfish, dedicated clown/anemone, clam tank, NPS tank with a Sea Apple etc. it just seems too nice for a QT tank when a simple 10g with a HOB will do. It's a heavier tank and harder to take a part and move if it needs heavy cleaning & disinfecting. A simple 10g can be washed clean in a kitchen or laundry sink and be stored away easily in a few minutes.

But it sure would work for the purpose you describe. For bio media I'd use one of the many ceramic bio media products - maybe in a mesh bag - maybe in the back chambers and on the media rack. Or live rock rubble if you can get it at the right price. Good luck with it.
