It has been about three months and here are some pics and updates.
I removed the biopellets and started feeding mysis and phyto, pretty heavy every day. I was looking for some sort of reading of nitrates. while a still had 0 nitrates i switched my t5s out for newer ones and recieved a dynoflag out break. long stringy brown, rediculously hard to get rid of! I added a bunch of crabs(40) and then started to see the stuff go away once i started to see some nitrates in the 5ppm range. Durring this time I was running the skimmer 2-3hrs a day, early morning, I also am running 3/4 cup of brs phos media. within the first month polyps started coming back and color was really starting to pop. i run the skimmer 1hr a day and feed heavy and still have trouble getting nitrate reading. oh, and i have changed the water once in the 3 months. (10%) still trying to feed the polyps so i picked up some reef snow (mp)
