Reef a Palooza - a success?

Steve Garrett wasn't exactly chopped liver I was sharing his tent space and I don't think there were ever less than 6-10 people crowding the tent. He sold SPS stuff for hours.

RAP was awesome.....The guys running SCMAS kick A$$.....what an unbelievable event.....I walked out of there with a T-shirt, a cool zoanthid frag (raffle win), and a nice Seio 1500....then I got to see my buddy Josh (Fmellish) pick up the best deal there (unless you won one of those Euro Reefs in the raffle ), and had a front row seat to watch Steve's anemone sit on that Tile Saw for like 15 min. (c'mon....we were all freaking out) while Anthony told us about the cutting of anemones...then saw that thing in half.....not to mention Fenner who is always a hoot to talk and listen too....this was the event of the year!

We are super bummed.... I got sick the night before and missed out. We have so much frags we were planning on bringing. I guess there will always be a next time.

i think the hassle of the tent situation scared off some sellers. When i got there about 1130 was shocked to see there was still room for more vendors. I was going to bring frags at the last minute but than decided to hold off. Was afraid off having to sit out in the sun all day long. I think this was a great event with two of the best people in the hobby giving talks. There were some frags still around at 1130, but not many LOL LOL. All the good stuff was gone by 1105 I think. Thanks for the fun time and until Gregs next swap see you then.

The comments and feed back are appreciated. We will review everyone's feed back for next year. I think it went pretty well considering it was put on by a handful of people in our spare time.

We really can't force vender to take any sort of payment. That is up to them. Although I can't imagine why anyone selling large ticket items would not take credit cards. I have a credit card/cell phone machine if anyone needs one.

Tri tip sounds fantastic, but will cost a lot more and take more time and effort to cook it.

Salt e What do you mean a LFS style pure o2 tank?

Personally I would like to see it moved indoors or under one or two large tents. Again the cost will jump appreciably.

Bebo, you should have got there early, I sold out in 1.5 hours... I was going to bring more frags, but at the last swap, I came home with stuff.

AND I WAS telling people to reserve with me, but not many people did...

I scored a cool RED acropora from eric and a purple blue tip deepwater.

I brought 30+ frags and sold them all.

I signed up to be in ontario in feb, and I'll bring some choice stuff next time.
