I just bought a Reef Angel Controller that should be delivered today. I am so excited to be able to get rid of the analog outlet timers under the fish tank!! Does anyone in town have experience with using a controller?

No, but I know who made it and several people with it :-D
All reports point to good things. Haven't seen any issues that Roberto couldn't immediately address.

I love this controller!

It is my first controller so I don't know how it compares to other brands but I found it to be a very good value! I have the controller setup with a Ph probe, 2 float sensors for auto top off, and 3 temperature sensors. These sensors are used in combination with a user-defined preset program to control 8 different relay controlled outlets!

I was a bit surprised that it only took me about 15 minutes to get it set up for my 125 gallon reef tank! I was also happy to find out that I could set all the user-defined parameters directly from the controller without using a computer -- a very nice feature!

One of the main reasons that I got a controller was because my wife was starting to complain that the number of pumps, lights, and heaters plugged into the wall was getting to be unmanageable and a confusing mess. Now with the touch of a single button she can even turn off all the pumps for feeding and by default the pumps will turn back on after 15 minutes!!

I now understand why so many people say that a controller is a must have piece of equipment!

wow my wife wont see that way....she will complain about another piece of equipment for the fish. i swear she thinks my fish are her arch enemy

Ntvper, that's funny! My wife sees it pretty much the same way but she loves to buy new fish & corals!!

I tried to say it in a nice way --- basically she said all the electrical stuff under the tank was a fire hazard and that I was going to burn down the house! At least now she can do some of the the very basic stuff by herself!
