I still keep the juvenile angel regal and a small centropyge argi:

I also purchased a tiny ctenochaetus tominiensis (1" long) a month ago:

And my last acquisition, a tiny juvenile Naso Vlamingii (2" long only):

I know that he will grow too much for my aquarium, but I hope to keep it for a year or a little more than surely it will also be the time that I will keep this project.

Thanks for the update! An inspiration! Looks very natural, not like a 'fruitstand' we often see. Natural placement of corals, I love the encrusting species.

Thanks, acropora turaki blue had a problem with RTN and finally lost the battle for space with the porites, and the same happened with the acropora echinata green.

I really like your aquascape. Without seeing yours, i had done something simlar. In my case, I have a 6’ tank in a peninsula style. I have a rock structure to conceal the overflow box that extends about 1 meter from the back wall, then a small but substncial sand bed and then a smaller rock structure isolated toward the front end of the tank.

I have been cited by the “pounds of live rock per gallon of water police” for not having the 1.5 pounds per gallon required LOL, have you been told you don’t have enough rock? My thinking is: If I fill the tank with rock, then where will the coral grow?

The aquarium has been disassembled.
I have really enjoyed marine aquariums in the past 15 years, but lately I was a bit lacking in motivation to keep it so I think it's time to look for new challenges .... given my passion for the creation of aquatic landscapes and my love for small fish I decided to experiment in the world of freshwater aquatic landscaping.
Who knows if it will be one forever or only one until then ...

My urchin was 1 echinometra mathaeii (one year with me) and 1 Lytechinus variegatus (5-6 months with me)

Thanks...I used aprox 40-50 pounds of live rock in this 100 gal tank.

I came from freshwater to salt a few decades ago but I was totally fascinated by the lake tanganyika biotope and the aquatic artists like takashi amano and the whole dutch aquarium aesthetic. It can be as endlessly fascinating as reef keeping.
Enjoy your future aquatic endeavors. It was a pleasure to watch your reefs develop.
