I read from another post that they liked them. I too would like to know more about this product. Sounds kinda cool. If i can find the post i will add the link to the owner site that tells a little bit about them but not enough to substain my curiosity.
Well they won't hurt anything but for $20 I might consider culturing phyto, rotifers and copepods at home. Set-up cost is minimal (shop light, empty soda bottles and an air pump--less than that 20 spot) and you have a constant supply. Here is how to go about it. Home Culture
Thanks Tom! Your posts are awsome. I just finished the new tank thread. Great read and full of good info. If i had only know about this site before i jumped into this hobby i would of made alot of different purchases for my setup. I think i am gonna give the home culture a try.
I use em. I put a little in an empty spaghetti sauce jar of tank water. I dump a little in the tank and put the rest on the windowsill. Shake once daily and add a little each day. One small scoop lasts all week. I've had one package for over a year and its still only half empty. I just use this because the space is limited for growing cultures in my living situation.
