Reef Cam

Anyone using the Icecap Reef Cam?
I set one up for someone and it works on their IPhone when they are away from home but it will not work on my Android. Only works for me when I'm at their house. Thoughts, tips?

Not using one of these... Yet but this is definitely relevant to my interests... I'll try and search around and see if I can find any information for you. If I were to get this it would be for Android so that's a little concerning.

Thank you, I would appreciate any info.
The person i set it up for was out of the country and was able to get intermittent service. I'm 20 miles from where i set it up and i get nothing. Ive tried it in a bunch of locations and still nothing.

Usually if it works in your house but not outside you have the wrong IP address. You need the outside IP address. This happened to me when I set up my DVR. I also had to port forward the router.

That makes sense, how are you connecting to the camera within the app?

I'll play around with it next time I'm at their house. Thanks for the tips, keep them coming.

I pressed the reset button on the wifi hub at my friends house yesterday. When i got home it worked, yay. I want one.
